Made in our Bristol workshop
We build everything ourselves, using materials we know will stand the test of time.
Each cabinet, drawer and frame is carefully crafted by our joiners, who pay close attention to the details that make an interior feel truly special.

Because the design and workshop teams work side by side, the intentions behind the drawings are carried directly into the making.

Craft and precision, working together.
Our workshop brings together traditional joinery and modern techniques, combining precise machinery with careful hand-finishing that gives each piece its character.
During the making, details often reveal themselves in new ways; a proportion refined, a line sharpened, a junction improved.
Because design and craft share the same space, those refinements can happen naturally, ensuring the finished interior feels exactly as it should.
Built for homes with character.
Every home we build for brings its own quirks.
Uneven walls, deep alcoves, unusual proportions and original architectural details all influence how an interior should be made. Rather than forcing a design to fit the space, our workshop builds with these realities in mind.
It’s this careful approach that allows an Alderholm interior to sit naturally within the home it belongs to.

The finishing touches
Once each piece is assembled, it moves through the final stages of preparation and finishing.
Surfaces are carefully sanded before being painted or lacquered in-house. Each finish is checked for tone, texture and consistency, ensuring every cabinet leaves the workshop exactly as intended.
